I live in Michigan and there are A LOT of Yemeni restaurants here. I'm a self-proclaimed big fan of Yemeni cuisine. While I was planning to visit Calgary, I decided to dine in here. The food was excellent. It was properly cooked and spicy, although I must say I found it a little dry (comparing with my previous experience). Keep up the good work. On a less serious note, I was a little disheartened not seeing Lamb Haneeth on the menu. Very nice and cozy place. The place is well decorated, gives a happy vibe (the rest room needs more attention).

Food was excellent and filled up 3 people with getting just 2 entered. The place was pretty busy and the waitress makes you feel like they do t have time to sell you on their dishes even though you are curious about them. But the good food made up for the mediocre service.

Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Lamb mandi was perfectly cooked- rice was flavored and lamb was so soft. This dish has spices but it was not hot spicy. Also ordered beef kabsa - and rice were so delish. Soft very well cooy beef with bones. There two dining halls and the whole restaurant is decorated with traditional artifacts. Customer service was excellent.

This place is my go to place with my friends and family. The place is small yet the hospitality and the food is delicious. Every time I have been to this place or have ordered a take out we always dig in to the food and I always forget to take pictures. Food is so good and generous portion. Food is halal. I have tried lamb mandi, chicken mandi, charred beef, Yemeni style egg, fasha, piping hot naans, lime with mint and tea. They serve food with two sauces. Their naans and sauces are the highlights. Highly recommended for everyone to try once.

I had the best bread in the world here. Amazing food with really reasonable price and friendly service. It felt like a bit mixture of Indian and Mediterranean. I tried the Lamb Mandi and beef with bread btw, wanna try the grilled fish next time if I revisit Calgary. 世界上最好吃的烤大饼！！！冲啊啊啊！！！
