Love the food and the vibe! My steadies here include the dessert cheese filo pastry coated in sweet baklava-like outer with pistachios. Uniquely delicious. I like the rose latte a lot. 🌸 There's a cute little provisions shop at the back cash where you can get little wrapped fresh baklava packs for $1. 👌 Great vegetarian options.

Really enjoyed exploring the menu here with some friends a few days ago. I recommend exploring the cold dishes as well, I was delightfully surprised at the range of flavours. They'd ran out of the desert favourite by the time we got to it but the mousse was delicious and a great alternate.

Service may be better at dinnertime but my dining experience here was very average at lunch. I really wanted to give this place a higher rating but I found it very mediocre for the price. I heard good things but it might have been overhyped for me. In a city where $20 doesn't get you much these days, I initially was quite happy with the portion size of lunch but the food itself was a miss for me. The wraps chicken although very juicy lacked flavour and did not have much in terms of veggies or crunch, texture was very one note. The platter was better, would have liked to have seen the pita heated to go with the array of dips and salads. Fries that came with the wrap were warm and crispy. Overall, food did come out pretty quickly and we did not leave hungry. The restaurant itself is very nice and I really enjoyed the non-alcoholic drinks. Service was okay although our main server was a bit inattentive at times. I expected a bit more.

I come here regularly for the cauliflower meal. It's the best. Choice of dips and you can go all veggies or half rice, it'll fill you up! You have to try it and you'll understand what I mean. I've had other cauliflower at other restaurants around town but this one is the best in my opinion.

I ordered the mujadra platter for $16.95. The black beans and lentils were overcooked, very mushy and too salty. The caramelized onions smelled burnt. The beans tasted like they came straight out of a can! The waiter was inattentive. He walked past me several times and never once asked me how everything was or if I was enjoying my meal. He walked past a tiny terrier mutt so-called "service dog" on the patio that was barking a loud ear piercing shreik incessantly throughout my meal, without saying a thing to the owner. The owner clearly did not own a service dog and simply bought a doggy jacket that says service dog on it, so that she could bring her dog into stores and restaurants. The owner left the dog alone several times to go out of the restaurant to smoke, whereupon the dog shrieked continually, causing me to cover my ears. The owner told her dog numerous times to be quiet and to stop barking, to no avail. The spinach saag was too chewy and I was unable to break it down, no matter how long I chewed it. At checkout, the waiter told me the total without once making eye contact with me. He told me rice was $5 extra. When he realized his mistake 15 minutes later, while he did admit that he was wrong, he did not apologize. I can make this dish at home and it will taste way better. Very disappointed and I won't be going back.
