Welcome to Arabz.ca. This website is designed to serve the Arab community in Canada, offering a range of services and information, including the latest news about Canada. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Arabz.ca and all associated services.

These Terms of Use, Condition, and Privacy Policy Terms and all policies posted on our site set out the terms on which we offer you access to and use of our site, services, applications, and tools (collectively “Services”). All policies, the Mobile Devices Terms, and the Privacy Policy are incorporated into these Terms of Use. You agree to comply with all the above when accessing or using our Services.

By accessing Arabz.ca, you agree to the following terms, designed to ensure that Arabz.ca works for everyone. This Policy is effective as of the last updated date above and may be updated occasionally.

General

These terms and the other policies posted on Arabz.ca Services constitute the entire agreement between Arabz.ca and you, superseding any prior agreements. The laws of Canada govern this agreement. We both submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canadian Government. This will not affect your statutory rights if you are a consumer, and applicable consumer law requires the application of another law for certain topics. We are not waiving our right to do so later if we don’t enforce any particular provision.

Your Business Account

To access and use some or a portion of the Services, you may be required to register with us and set up an account with your email address/user name and a password (your “Account”). The email address you provide will be your email address, and you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your Account. Therefore, you should protect your password and make your password difficult for others to guess. Using Arabz.ca

You will post in the appropriate category/Listing or area and will not do any of the following inappropriate things:

• Be false or misleading;
• Infringe any third-party right;
• Distribute or contain spam, chain letters, or pyramid schemes;
• Distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm Arabz.ca or the interests or property of Arabz.ca users;
• Impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or interfere with the proper working of the Arabz.ca;
• You agree not to use the website in a way that disrupts or interferes with the site’s normal operation.
• The content on Arabz.ca, including Arabic Canadian news articles, is for informational purposes only.
• Copy, modify, or distribute any other person’s content;
• Use any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means to access Arabz.ca and collect content for any purpose without our express written permission;
• Harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses, without their consent;
• Bypass measures used to prevent or restrict access to Arabz.ca.

Abusing Arabz.ca

• Basic Listing: The basic listing service on Arabz.ca is free of charge. It allows businesses to showcase their products or services to our diverse user base. A basic listing includes essential business information such as contact details, address, and a brief description.
• Featured Ads: For businesses looking to stand out and increase their visibility, we offer a featured ads service. With a featured ad, your business listing will be highlighted and prominently displayed on our platform for a specified duration. This service comes with an associated fee, and the cost may vary depending on the duration and placement of the featured ad.

Please note that all fees and charges associated with our additional services are subject to change. We recommend contacting our team directly for the most up-to-date information on pricing and available services.

Content

Ownership of Content: All content displayed on Arabz, including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics, videos, and audio, is the property of Arabz and is protected by copyright laws and other intellectual property rights. The content may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, or used without explicit permission from Arabz.

Ownership and Usage of Arabz.ca Applications

You shall not modify, adapt, translate, prepare derivative works from, decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from any Application. Prohibited Activities on Arabz.ca Canada

The following activities are prohibited on Arabz.ca:

1. Posting an item for sale/rent that is illegal to own, buy, or sell in your area of residence.
2. Posting duplicate listings in multiple categories or multiple cities.
3. Posting listings using multiple different email addresses.
4. Posting a listing that serves no other purpose other than to send traffic to a website.
5. Posting a multi-level marketing or other prohibited job.
6. Posting a listing containing a list of keywords not directly related to the item being sold.
7. Posting a listing that contains adult, mature, or erotic content. Personals are not allowed.
8. Posting a listing that defames anyone or contains “hate speech.”
9. Posting opinions, notices, and discussion topics which should instead be posted on social media sites.
10. Posting a listing in an incorrect or misleading category or with misleading information.

Users must be at least 16 years old to post listings on their own. Listings for our younger users must be posted by an adult for security reasons.

Compliance with Laws and Policies

Any listings that do not comply with Arabz.ca policies will be removed from the site. Additionally, users who violate such policies may be blocked from using Arabz.ca in the future. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable laws relating to the items you list, rent, buy, or sell on Arabz.ca.

Our general rule is that you may not list, rent, buy, or sell items or services that are illegal to own, buy, or sell in your province of residence, or that are not bought or sold in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Please remember that Arabz.ca reserves the right to enforce its policies and take appropriate action to maintain the integrity and safety of the platform.

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

Arabz respects the intellectual property rights of others and attempts to comply with all relevant laws, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Duplicated Listing

At Arabz.ca, we have guidelines regarding posting duplicate listings to ensure the platform remains organized and user-friendly. Please note the following rules:

• Relevant Category: When posting an ad, make sure to select the most relevant category for your listing. If you are uncertain about which category to choose, try searching for similar ads to determine the appropriate category. Posting the same ad in multiple categories is not permitted and will result in the removal of the duplicate listings from Arabz.ca.
• Location-specific Listings: It is important to post your listing in the Arabz.ca site that is nearest to your location. Keep in mind that users who are willing to travel may search across provinces to find your listing. Posting the same ad in multiple locations is not allowed and will be removed from Arabz.ca.
• Multiple Locations: However, if your business has multiple physical locations, you are permitted to add a saparate listing for each address. You are indeed allowed to create separate listings for each physical address of your business if you have multiple locations. This will help users find your business more easily and accurately based on their preferred location. When adding multiple listings for different addresses of the same business, please ensure that each listing corresponds to the specific location it represents.
• Condensed Listings for Multiple Services: If your business offers multiple services, we encourage you to consolidate the information as much as possible. Rather than creating individual ads for each service, please include all the facets of your services within a single ad. This helps to streamline the browsing experience for users and avoids unnecessary duplication of listings.
