هذا المطعم لكل شخص يريد أن يتذوق الطعام الجزائري الحقيقي وبأجواء ريفية جزائرية بسيطة، فعند ذهابك لهناك ستلاحظ الديكور العربي البسيط وستتناول الأطباق التقليدية الجزائرية، بالإضافة إلى تقديمه مأكولات منوعة كالسندويش والحساء والمشاوي بأنواع عديدة من اللحوم الحلال حصراً. يقع المطعم في سانت ليونارد. بالنسبة للمقبلات فيقدم البرك والبطاطا المقلية محلية الصنع والبطاطا المقلية بالجبنة بالإضافة إلى البطاطا المقلية أومليت ويقدم البيض المقلي، وأيضاً يقدم السلطات المتنوعة، أما بالنسبة للأطباق الرئيسية فيقدم سمك السردين اللذيذ والمشاوي المختلفة والتي تكون من اختيارك، ولا ننسى الأطباق الخاصة بالأطفال كسندويش تشيز برغر سندويش هوت دوغ، وغيرها من الأطباق المتنوعة، كما أنه يقدم الحلويات الشهية والمشروبات الباردة. تحدث أحد الزبائن عن الطعم الشهي، وأنه كان كل شيء طازج، بالإضافة إلى الخدمة الجيدة جداً والاستقبال الرائع، ونصح كل شخص يحب الأجواء العربية البسيطة بتجربته.

Place is busy food is classic. Their shawarma bread was hard for me. Other then try fries with eggs. Service was so good.

So this was our first time trying out Algerian food. We did not speak French, Algerian or Arabic, but the staff was excellent at explaining the menu items. Although we did not speak the same language, we enjoyed great taste! We ordered the meat and chicken sandwiches and the fries with egg, which is an Algerian specialty. Excellent food and the price isn't too high either. We would highly recommend going early because the place is very busy and gets full fast so you will have to wait to get seated, usually within 20-30 minutes. If you are in Montreal and looking for some great halal food, this is a good choice!

The traditional bread is good the fries not so much I recommend the bbq beef it's the best the waiting time is too much need to work on that

Service going down .....they changed the price and they didn't change it on the menu. So when you are at the cash to pay the bill they'll tell you hey! here is a paper on the wall near the cash saying that prices have changed , we're legally protected with that!!!.but no one tells you at the moment of the order that the prices at the menu are wrong or anything about that so if you pay attention to the bill you'll end up paying a different price than the one listed on the menu. So at the cash when I spoke to the boss he started arguing and saying that legally he is protected as he has put a paper near the cash saying that prices have changed and trying to defend the fact that he didn't change the menus or put at least stickers on the menu or even advice the costumer when the waiters take the order that prices have changed, so this is what I call "how you can scam your customers" while trying to be legal at the same time... which is ethically not acceptable from a place that is supposed to respect its' customers...very disappointed about this way of managing a restaurant. This was my third or fourth time and probably the last one after having seen this type of behaviour. (please read their reply below and you'll understand what type of mentality they have......). Besides from that, the food is acceptable and around the average in terms of quality, service is above average as well besides this price change issue. To some it up , it's not a pricing issue as much as a transparency and an ethical issue as things could have been done in a much more professional and honest way : just advice the customer that menu prices have changed at the time of order .. Very simple!. Arguing that 1$,2$,3$ are just a small change that doesn't worth to stop at, is such a cheap argument! And just a proof that professionalism , honesty, and transparency are just cheaper than 25 cents for this place!!.....($). So hopefully this comment helps in making things better in the future, and since the label ( goût du bled) have a huge meaning and symbolic ...our Bled worths a flawless behavior when it comes to representing our country publicly in any way.
