I visited Blady today and it was an awesome experience... they have pretty much everything for a middle eastern families... as you can see in my photos they have frozen, canned, fresh food and many many other stuff, the prices are reasonable according to the quantity and quality.. they also have a bakery, butcher, deli, and fresh vegetables 😋 .. regarding the parking there is a parking behind the store but not with many spots...

It has changed and locals that go know what to get. Hard to walk through the store but also felt like I entered an Egyptian market. They had cheese patties and beef Patties and kebab and other local favorites. I will try it now.nnBeware of this market. Really disliked everything we bought. Bought the green falafel mix to fry at home and it wasn’t good. The pitas were hot but got home and the salt was through the roof. Also they weren’t soft they were hard. The tabouli was not fresh and just OK. The baklava was dry and old. Looks great inside but need to work on quality. Want to buy everything based off what I see, need to work on flavor. Actually the tabouli was garbage, it was past it’s best before date.

Reas about this place in the paper, their web site looked interesting so we checked it out. My wife and I love cooking and are always interested in middle eastern food.nIt is a small somewhat crowded establishment, buts lots of neat stuff. There have their own butcher and make dairy products, like feta cheese and their version of youghurt. We arrived when they were getting their meat delivered, (always a good sign when the delivery guy buys his lunch at the shop). Lots of middle eastern canned goods and dried goods. I was impressed at the variety of spices, some of which I didn't know. They also have fresh baked goods, different types of pitas, baklava and other goodies. There is a corner where they make manakish, a mideast version of a pizza sort of, basically a Flatbread with toppings baked in a hot oven, various toppings, but no tomato sauce. We split a zartaar and cheese and a cheese and black olive and both were delicious.nThe owners are sure trying hard, we had lots of help and they answered our questions without any problems.nWe are definitely including this place in our supply chain.nThere seems to be some parking behind the store, on the back lane, but we couldn't access it as it was very busy. There is 1 hr parking on the side streets so we didn't have to walk far.

The bakery makes the most amazing breads, in house cheese & labneh that is fantastic & lots of delicious thing to grab like sumac, zaatar, tahini & floral olive oil. Love this store & the people who run it. A highlight of living in wpg.

Last time I bought some pitas from this place, I was disappointed to find them moldy when I got home. This time, I purchased some large frozen lafas. After thawing, they were all stuck together and even appeared uncooked. Very dissatisfied with the quality.
