Aida’s Bistro Restaurant is a traditional Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine. Aida Bistro is located in Calgary and has been serving Calgary for over 20 years. Provides great service and excellent food. Returning from Lebanese origins, she came to Canada in 1974 after obtaining a degree in the English language, without formal experience in cooking, but she learned to take her home recipes from home and turn them into wonderful dishes, which she learned about 40 years ago and present today, and put her skill into practice. Her ability to present Calgarian and Middle Eastern cuisine with the authenticity and delicious taste of both, as well as the care and attention that only a mother can provide. Aida prepares her dishes as she used to serve them to her family. The quality of the food makes you come back again and again. The restaurant offers various appetizers, in addition to salads and sandwiches of different types. They can cater for both large and small occasions, whether it’s a business lunch or a birthday party, they offer you a wide range of options to suit your needs.

By far the worse experience. I decided to take out my family and I truly based this experience on these google reviews. Overall HORRIBLE!!! Practically ordered most of the items including desserts. The waitress was solely focused on her tips and didn’t even return my change. The food wasn’t cooked properly. See photos attached. The chicken touk was horrible and half cooked. The beef tasted so sour. The rice was ok. The pita bread came soggy. Non the less we still wanted to try the kunfi and the pudding. The pudding was disgusting and the kunfi cheese was so old. I’ve informed my waitress and showed her that we didn’t eat any but only tried the first bite which I spat out. She didn’t bother to care about my feedback. My bill came to $138.00. The waitress took most of our food back to the kitchen and apparently the kitchen refused to waive few of the items off the bill. I paid full price. I gave her $150.00 and didn’t bother to return my change. I’m extremely disappointed with this restaurant. PLEASE PLEASE don’t try this place. You respond back with so much contradiction. So what I Misspelled your dish as long as you were aware. The chicken you claim you take seriously while it was under cooked was returned back to your kitchen without any compensation to the customer. The blood on the beef was reported to the waitress and she mentioned she Informed the kitchen about it but again nothing was done. The pudding apparently was your top seller was horrible because it tasted so old. Truthfully I came to your restaurant to actually taste quality and carry on. Instead I was surprised. My intention wasn’t to leave a negative review. However the response back from your staff and the kitchen lead me to this. of course I won’t return to your restaurant and I truly hope you correct your attitude towards your customers. Even if it was negative, simply learn and improve and not be ignorant about your responses. Which you also ignored the other comments I made. Hopefully this serves you a little insight to move forward on quality.

Great little restaurant in Mission. The food is delicious. We had the kabob sampler (beef, lamb and chicken), and it was the perfect size for 2 people. Servers were knowledgeable and able to give advice to my friend who doesn't eat gluten. We never felt rushed. Would recommend a reservation for dinner as it gets quite busy, and since it's small, it fills in quickly. I will be back.

Got the chicken shawarma large platter. I thought the hummus tasted great but the salad and chicken were okay. They also served my chicken with the Tahini sauce, when I asked for the spicy mayo and acknowledged it as they served it. Not sure why they didn’t just take it back when they realized the mistake. Overall there are better Lebanese restaurants in the city.

What a great little place! I've been a handful of times now for lunch and the food is incredible value for money - and of course delicious too. Service is what you would expect for a place of this size, good - not great, but emphasis on good. I've only ever ordered their "Lunch for Two" sharing plates, which are amazing! I will slowly go through them all, I've had the Meat one (three times now) and the Veggie one (once). Great place to take someone for some Mediterranean food.

We visited this place and filled up on the smaller plates/appetizers. They had large portions and petite prices! The highlight for me was the falafel: they were huge, with a fluffy (almost hush puppy like) interior, nice crispy edges, and great tahini sauce; different, but arguably the best I've ever had! The chicken wings were very crispy with pretty good flavor. The spinach and lentil soup was declicous, super flavorful, and had a good smooth texture. The tabbouleh was average and a little underwhelming. Burma was an interetsing dessert -- it was a little buttery and not sweet. I love pistachios, but it needed a sweet component to balance things out. Service was excellent and the vibe here is great. I'd definitely come back to Aida's to try more.
