أكاديمية إدمونتون الإسلامية تأسست منذ عام 1987، تتبع أكاديمية إدمونتون الإسلامية مناهج مقاطعة ألبرتا في جميع مواضيعها الأساسية: لغة الفنون، الرياضيات، العلوم، الدراسات الاجتماعية والقراءة المبكرة. بالإضافة إلى المنهج الألبرتي، يتم تدريس الدراسات الإسلامية والقرآن واللغة العربية، هدفهم هو الحفاظ على الهوية الدينية والثقافية للطلاب كما يتجلى ذلك في معتقداتهم وقيمهم الإسلامية ويأخذون هذه المسؤولية بجدية، ويصنعون جوًا حيث يشعر الطلاب بالحب والأمان والرعاية والتشجيع على التفوق الأكاديمي، يشارك كافة تلاميذ المدرسة والقائمين فيها على الصلاة بالإضافة للالتزام باللباس الإسلامي، تهتم المدرسة أيضاً في الجانب الرياضي للطلاب لذا في الثانوية يتم تأهيل الطلاب على العديد من الرياضات ككرة الريشة والريكبي وكرة الطائرة والقدم ويتم التنافس مع طلاب المدارس الأخرى.
The Islamic Academy of Edmonton was founded in 1987. It follows the curriculum of the Alberta province in all its core subjects: language arts, mathematics, sciences, social studies, and early reading. In addition to the Alberta curriculum, Islamic studies, Quran, and Arabic language are also taught. The academy aims to preserve the religious and cultural identity of students, as reflected in their Islamic beliefs and values. They take this responsibility seriously, creating an environment where students feel love, safety, care, and encouragement for academic excellence. All students and staff participate in prayers, in addition to adhering to Islamic dress code. The school also values the athletic aspect for students. In high school, students are trained in various sports such as badminton, rugby, volleyball, and soccer, competing with students from other schools.

I hated this school I moved to public and I love it here the don’t send your kid here the only reason this is the top ten school in Alberta is beca They hide all the messed up thing the students do and if your sending your child here for Islamic don’t because it won’t help there’s dating and vaping and fight but the reason you don’t see it is because they expel the kid I remember my freind got expelled for taking a video of a fight PLS DONT MAKE YOUR KID HATE YOU BY SENDING THEM TO THIS MESSED UP SCHOOL

This school is so bad I went there for 10 years I hated every year I always make reviews and they always end up taking it down if your sending your child to this school just know that there’s dating and vaping but they don’t say nothing for there image the students in this school all have no respect but thats strange cause there motive is to be respectful and responsible students please don’t send your kid.

I have found our experience at the EIA to be wonderful, and have zero regrets registering my kids there. The atmosphere there is warm, welcoming and safe. My kids are in the lower elementary grades, and with my experience I have found the teachers, and Principles to be very approachable and respectful.nThis School is run by a great team..and kids!

If you want your children to have a Muslim and Arabic education, the EIA is where you want to send them. Top 10 school in the province in academics and athletics. They also teach the kids manners and respectfulness, which seems to be lacking these days.

I came this school because of my religion my son is only 4 years and he is coming about a month i am getting complains , last year and September this year was attending another private school i nerve hard any issues, kids peri school gets more energy and they need to spend the energy but why am noticing teachers want be quiet kids if your kids more energy could not handle 
and they make me to question my pranting method , also they are telling me the whole class is doing good only your child is trouble maker they didn’t tell me he is bothering other kids but he took out our energy so am I very sensitive or teachers need more training for preschool because what are they expecting from preschool kids to be quiet and listen without training? I don’t think so that will going happen the reason I put there is to learn the school rules not to expected from him to know alreadynI am really confused and mad already I hope don’t force me to quit the whole school ! and I hope the k-g teachers won’t give me like this situation
