The staff were super friendly and helped me find food for my sensitive stomach (was recovering from a stomach issue) even when the Muslim prayer chants were on during midday. Excellent prices on the fruit and the fruit was super fresh. My coworkers were impressed when I told them about my experience

As a newcomer to Edmonton, AB (coming from Toronto, ON), I cannot thank Elsafadi enough for providing excellent customer service and offering fresh products at a reasonable price. From the moment I entered the store until my dismissal, I was greeted with smiley faces. Whenever I was asking for a specific item, the staff eagerly responded and one time I ended up having a nice chat with the owner I think ( a gentleman in blue shirt) and Ahmad, one of the staff members who informed me about their green bean stock availability. Elhamdülillah that I found Elsafadi where I can purchase Turkish and Middle Eastern groceries twice a month!😊👍

2 locations in Castle downs neighbourhood and the reason why I fell in love with Edmonton. A few years ago... Christmas around 2018, 2019 ... my grandchild was going through the banana stage. She couldn't get enough of them eating bananas morning, noon and night. Her mother could barely keep enough stocked and one Christmas morning we realized we'd run out. Grammy and Papa had none either so I'm driving around Christmas wondering where I was going to get bananas without paying ten bucks for a bunch. That's when I remembered the owners are not Christian and wouldn't observe the stat holiday. Sure enough there was a whole market supply of food not just bananas. And that's the day I fell in love with this city, its diversified cultures.

All things Mediterranean. Love this place for its fresh food and good selection of fruits and vegetables. We always get the Tzatiki, Dolma (grape leaves)and Fatayar made fresh by Elsafadi. Fresh cheese and olives at the Deli bar are great. Unbelievable selection of different types of olive oil. Just a great middle eastern supermarket. It’s packed full so narrow isles, it’s clean and well lit. Staff is friendly and courteous.

After paying for my grocery’s I forgot to pick up a few bags of spices.. I called the next to see if they put them on the side for me .. they told me we are sorry we didn’t find nothing on the counter.
