مدرسة الصفا والمروة الإسلامية هي مدرسة خاصة ومجانية، تقع في ميسيساغا. تأسست في عام 1998. وهي خاضعة للرقابة ومسجلة من قبل وزارة التعليم في أونتاريو. فيها أقسام للمرحلة (JK,SK) والمرحلة الابتدائية والمرحلة الإعدادية والمرحلة الثانوية، وبالإضافة إلى ذلك يوجد فيها دورات صيفية. لديها برنامج تعليمي ملتزم، بالإضافة إلى التركيز على الأخلاق والشخصيات الإسلامية. يركزون بشكل كبير على جودة التدريس والتعلم جنباً إلى جنب مع استخدام أساليب التدريس والتوصيل المبتكرة. ويؤمنون بأن القيم الإسلامية القوية والتميز الأكاديمي والرفاهية العاطفية هم أساس نجاح مجتمعنا. ويحاولون بتعزيز التجربة التعليمية التي تمكن جميع خريجي الصفا والمروة من أن يصبحوا مواطنين مساهمين فخورين وواثقين في عقيدتهم الإسلامية. ويتم السماح للطلاب وعائلتهم بالقيام بجولة في المدرسة والتعرف على برامجهم. والجدير بالذكر بأن (SAM) قد حصلت على المرتبة الأولى في جميع أنحاء أونتاريو وفقاً لمعهد فريزر .
Al Safa and Al Marwa Islamic School is a private, free school, located in Mississauga. It was established in 1998. It is regulated and registered by the Ontario Ministry of Education. It has sections for the JK, SK, primary, preparatory, and secondary levels, and in addition to that, there are summer courses. It has a committed educational program, in addition to an emphasis on Islamic ethics and character. They place great emphasis on quality teaching and learning along with the use of innovative teaching and delivery methods. They believe that strong Islamic values, academic excellence and emotional well-being are the foundation of the success of our society. They are trying to enhance the educational experience that enables all graduates of Safa and Marwa to become contributing citizens who are proud and confident in their Islamic faith. Students and their families are allowed to tour the school and learn about their programs. It is worth noting that (SAM) has ranked first in all of Ontario according to the Fraser Institute.

I don't like this school because of Loneliness and Bullying In a school, the lack of freedom often leads to a feeling of loneliness. Additionally, the inability to communicate makes it difficult for students to make friends. Thus, they end up feeling lonely and are unwilling to go to school.

I attended SAM high school a few years ago, overall a pleasant experience for the first two years of high school I went here for. Teachers were overall great. We had some fun field trips and school events. Wasn't so impressed or pleased with a few of their policies such as the "No phone/device policy" (Your not allowed to have your cell phone on you during school hours) keep in mind this is for high school students as well, not only for elementary school students. Secondly, there were set days for when you were allowed to leave the school to buy yourself lunch when I was there, I believe it was 2 days a week you were allowed to buy lunch from the nearby establishments and 2 days a week girls went and 2 days a week boys went and on Friday's nobody was allowed to leave. Not sure what has changed in the last 3-4 years but that was the setup system at that time. Now keep in mind not all of us students are lucky enough to have home packed lunch to bring to school, some of us could only purchase lunch at the available establishments near the school. I found the whole "2 days a week" leaving school to buy lunch policy unacceptable, I understand due to possible conflicts the school couldn't allow everyone at the same time to leave and buy lunch but they could have put a teacher in place or a staff member to supervise students to ensure bad behaving students are banned to avoid conflicts so that students could purchase food everyday. We have to eat everyday to stay healthy and not starve ourselves (I starved myself many times because of the policy in place). At one point the school did permit ordering food which was banned not too long after for no apparent reason. I found the whole food purchasing days a joke honestly. Other than these two points (No cell phones & selective days you could leave the school to buy food.) I had a overall pleasant experience at this school. I have been to many schools throughout my student years and there was no such policy about not having cell phones on you or not being able to order food or leaving ONLY on selective days to buy food from nearby establishments. I wish the best of luck to SAM and hope improvements are put in place. Update & response to your reply - You simply dodged all my constructive feedback and advice for improvement :) I still wish you all the best and may improvements be put in place inshallah.

I know a lot of people who came to this school and they have had a really bad experience. Too strict and demanding the teachers are horrible and it's not good school would not recommend

It's mind-boggling to see so many negative reviews for this school. I am not disputing observations from others but I honestly cannot relate to any of them. I have two kids going to this school for over 2 years now. The teachers and management both are hard working and try their best in every aspect to deliver quality education to the students. For working parents with not much time at hand, this school is a Godsend. We feel safe that our children are taken care of at the school and provided the right environment to enhance their knowledge in Deen and Duniya. I see some reviews regarding the high fees and lack of infrastructure. In my view, the fees are reasonable and under the fee structure, the school is offering the best they can in terms of building facility and quality of education. Keep in mind that the school is not-for-profit and supplements its infrastructure costs via donations. It wouldn't be realistic to compare public school infrastructure with a not-for-profit private school. All the best to the teachers and management at SAM! Let's keep up the good work in grooming future leaders!

The majority of negative reviews seem to be from 2+ years ago, so I'll speak of my personal experience starting from 2020. My daughter started during the pandemic, and I must say that they handled it very well. They were very communicative before school began, especially for new parents who were nervous sending their children. They answer emails very quickly and are always there to communicate with any concerns/questions. The education is top-notch with qualified teachers. Now, the reason we choose to send our kids to Islamic school: the Islamic education. They use a very gentle approach, and teach Islam as a way of life. My daughter LOVES deen class and Quran class Alhumdulillah. Ms. Nagla is an AMAZING teacher. She has a way with children, and I've seen her treat each child with patience and respect. Yes, the facilities may be lacking a little, but it is a non-profit school running on donations. Despite that, they do their best to ensure that the students experience many extracurriculars. Overall, we've been having a great experience with this school Alhumdulillah. May Allah bless the teachers and administration for all that they do! JAK for your hard work.
