She has always wanted to give back to the Muslim community. Sister Umm Anas began selling 10 hijabs and 5 abayas at the beginning of her Islamic business in her home apartment. In 1991, she opened the first Islamic store in Canada. The small store was expanded to a larger and better store to accommodate all your Islamic needs, from abayas, kaftans, hijabs, and accessories to books. Islamic and men’s clothing such as dresses, scarves, hats and children’s clothing. Its store also offers gifts such as tires, prayer rugs and much more. It offers shipping service to all parts of the world at the best possible prices, which takes from one to three days to be shipped, in addition to always offering discounts on products.

The owner is incredibly greedy and will charge you more than the listed price if you are bigger. I've literally never had such a horrible experience abaya shopping as I have with this place. Go to the store next door or literally any other abays place, and they will charge the same price regardless of size. They also love to charge you ridiculous prices for hijabs they clearly order from Alibaba.

I saw a dress in the discount section but it still had the full price on the label. So I took it to the lady at the till and asked what the reduced price was. With confidence she said that the customers move things around and this wasn’t on sale. She was very polite and apologetic.nnMaking sure I wasn’t mistaken I took the dress back to the same discounted rack where there were another 7/8 of the exact same dresses.nnSo basically they’re telling me that the customers deliberately move things from full price to the discount rack and place all the dresses together in order?! Or is it that you’re forcing people to pay full price for items that are discounted?nnAwful ethics. Stop scamming your customers. How you get away with this sort of behaviour is a mystery to me. My personal opinion like many others is to avoid this place and shop elsewhere. Save yourself from being ripped off.

Spent $60 on their online site buying 20 halal Rice Krispie treats that you can’t usually find in Ontario. It took way longer than advertised for the package to come in, and once it did, I was so disappointed to see they sent me some halal Rice Krispie treats that I could find at my local Halal store for a quarter of the price. When I called they said it was because the treats I ordered were out of stock (so tell me that, and let me decide if I want the alternative). I went back and forth on the phone with them trying to get a refund, but they claimed the person who could do that was out of the country (for over two months??) I am so disappointed by the treatment of this Muslim small business. Definitely do not recommend nor will I go to again.

After reading all the negative comments, I wanted to check out um anas for myself. I wanted to purchase 3 prayer matts for my kids and ajwa dates. 2 kind ladies helped me out and took their time to help me find exactly what I needed even. I was very happy with my experience and will definitely look into this store again.
